There is perhaps no ceremony more joyous than the welcoming of a new child into the world!
The ordained interfaith ministers of WeddingsToGo.org serve families of all faiths and are qualified and trained in the art of Baby Blessings and Baby Naming ceremonies.
We recognize and give thanks for the exceedingly precious gift that is a child. We acknowledge and honor the unique soul that he or she is. We will spend time getting to know your family. We connect heart to heart. We will ask many questions to create a ceremony which perfectly reflects your needs, your beliefs, your values, your family and the specialness that is your child. In this way, the words and the rituals shall remain alive within you always. We will give you a written copy of the ceremony and we strongly encourage that you videotape the ceremony so that your child will appreciate the feelings and thoughts expressed and the rituals performed as he or she grows into adulthood. The ceremony is inclusive and participatory... honoring and including all significant family members (i.e. parents, grandparents and siblings) and friends (i.e. godparents, spiritual mentors)... always from the heart. You may choose traditional religious readings, or non religious readings from poetry or literature. Creative alternatives and solutions are offered and welcomed.
Bless your child, anoint him/her, welcome her/him into this world with a deeply moving, magical ceremony which reflects the power that is a child.
